Cured

Message in a Bottle

Just a castaway, an island lost at sea, oh
Another lonely day, with no one here but me, oh
More loneliness than any man could bear
Rescue me before I fall into despair, oh

I’ll send an S.O.S. to the world
I’ll send an S.O.S. to the world
I hope that someone gets my
I hope that someone gets my
I hope that someone gets my
Message in a bottle, yeah
Message in a bottle, yeah

A year has passed since I wrote my note
But I should have known this right from the start
Only hope can keep me together
Love can mend your life but
Love can break your heart
I’ll send an S.O.S. to the world
I’ll send an S.O.S. to the world
I hope that someone gets my
I hope that someone gets my
I hope that someone gets my
Message in a bottle, yeah
Message in a bottle, yeah
Message in a bottle, yeah
Message in a bottle, yeah

Walked out this morning, don’t believe what I saw
Hundred billion bottles washed up on the shore
Seems I’m not alone at being alone
Hundred billion castaways, looking for a home
I’ll send an S.O.S. to the world
I’ll send an S.O.S. to the world
I hope that someone gets my
I hope that someone gets my
I hope that someone gets my
Message in a bottle, yeah
Message in a bottle, yeah
Message in a bottle, yeah
Message in a bottle, yeah

Sending out at an S.O.S.
Sending out at an S.O.S.
Sending out at an S.O.S.
Sending out at an S.O.S.
Sending out at an S.O.S.
Sending out at an S.O.S…

I’m cured of loneliness, girlfriend, for the time being. I have learned to control my crushes. There is a girl or two that would be very easy to like, but it’s just not important to me right now. I made a list of goals/changes I want to accomplish before allowing myself those feelings again. I don’t even actively flirt other than being myself (which can be seen a flirtatious at times).

    giving up girls for Lent?

I’m not actually giving anything up this year. I thought about giving up running; that would have been a very big sacrifice and much harder to give up than soda or junk food. I just didn’t have it in me, though.

well it would be kinda hard to give up running if you are training for a marathon

Exactly, making it a very big sacrifice to the point that would either make me run a much slower time or cause me to drop out altogether. I just didn’t have the willpower.
